World-Class Chef Toasts 2008 Fiesta

One of the world’s top culinary masters, Cheong Liew, will once again be the ambassador of the 2008 Fiesta!.

Cheong has been ambassador for this gourmet event since 2006 and has always been a great advocate of Fiesta! and the regional produce it celebrates and embraces.

Cheong’s association with the event began in 2005, when he was invited to be a guest judge for Fiesta’s Chef of the Region in the Chapel Hill Winery Gourmet Retreat Culinary Competition. He is an excellent ambassador for Fiesta! and the regional produce it celebrates – even his famous signature dish 'Four Dancers of the Sea' is a creation that celebrates the heart of regional food and seasonal cooking.

Cheong Liew is again set to judge the Fleurieu Peninsula Food Chef of the Region competition on Wednesday 15 October.
