experiences of regional food and wine. For Fiesta 2008 we’re
just Wild About Yeast.
Join hosts Tori and David along with fellow local artisans as
we explore yeast in an entertaining and indulgent Sunday afternoon.
Learn a bit about Wild Yeasts while tasting your way through some
premium wines, beer, bread and olives. Join special guest local
artisans for some lively discussion around the role of yeasts in
our favourite food and drinks from beer to champagne. Join the makers
and growers for a Shared Table lunch featuring the best Spring produce
and a liberal ferment of yeast.
Barrels of wine, bubbles, cider and olives are fermenting; the
oats, barley and wheat are planted in preparation for Fiesta 2008
where we’ll be taking yeast quite literally from paddock to
plate.
And everyone gets to try some hands-on blending in the quest for
the coveted Producers’ Fiesta Trophy!
